Randy Scoggins' practice is concentrated in the area of commercial real estate, with an emphasis on commercial leasing, investment, development and finance. His practice involves the purchase, development, leasing, sale and financing of office, retail and multi-family properties. He also represents developers in connection with land acquisition, development and sale.
Randy represents institutional landlords in office, retail, business service and industrial leases across the country. He has developed form leases for institutional landlords, coordinated with local counsel the development of form leases for multiple properties in various states, and regularly advises clients on significant leasing transactions. His work also involves telecommunications issues involving commercial properties, such as license and access agreements.
In addition to his leasing practice, Randy represents owners and operators of private clubs and golf courses in connection with development and operating issues. He also has significant experience in development issues involving all types of commercial real estate, from the contract stage through the preparation of restrictive covenants, easements, cross-easement agreements, construction contracts and related transactions. Randy also is involved in the formation of investment and development entities, such as corporations, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies and joint ventures. Randy is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.
